This vintage 1950s pattern was intended to be a nightgown, but shares the shape of a sun dress, so either could be made using the super easy sewing instructions. We recommend cotton fabric if you choose the sundress. The nightgown is made of nylon with gathers controlled by a satin ribbon, keeping it easy to make for beginning sewers. Easily a one day sewing project.
