This one piece knitted swim suit pattern comes to you from the late 1940s. Feminine and figure flattering -- and perfect in modern yarns (skip wool to prevent "saggy bottoms") -- this swim suit is perfect beach wear for all of our retro gals. If your figure wouldn't be flattered in this swim suit -- knit it and add a loose coverup that allows parts of the suit to show so you still achieve the vintage look.

The instructions are for a bust size of 32-34 inches. We provide RESIZING instructions HERE if you need to create a bigger bust or garment size. To increase the length of the garment, add rows. 

The materials call for Nos. 12 and 11 needles -- note this is UK sizing. For the USA conversion, use 2.75mm and 3mm, respectively.
