This vintage pattern is for a 1940s multi-colored scarf and matching turban wrap hat. This hat is knitted and then you twist/knot it at the top of your head for a fantastic vintage fashion statement or to cover hair on a bad hair day. Use the colors shown in the picture for an authentic recreation or choose your own favorites. The pattern does call for one row of crochet around the edge of the hat which is not necessary, so if you cannot crochet, leave that last row off.
