Originally published in 1926, this hard-to-find vintage beading book has been reprinted with all the original pages and designs. This book shows you how to create 15 flapper era purses using a combination of knitting or crochet stitches (depending on pattern) and sliding beads after stitches in sequence with the instructions. One purse is crocheted with beads, the rest are knit with beads. In addition, instructions are provided for making 6 necklaces and 1 beaded ash tray strap using simple beading instructions. A sampling of purses and necklaces are shown in the pictures.
